Here is a recent YouTube video where I talk honestly about something that’s still very real in my life — I’m 67, and I’m still looking for work. Some can be discouraging.
Some days it feels hopeful. Most days it feels like I’m figuring it out one step at a time.

But here’s what’s changed. Instead of just waiting for a job, I’ve been learning. I’ve been digging into Pinterest. I’ve been studying how Amazon affiliate links work. I’ve been trying to understand this online world that so many younger creators seem to navigate so easily.

And let me tell you it’s not as simple as posting a picture and hoping for the best. The is strategy, patience, consistency and humility in starting over.

What I’m discovering is this: learning something new at 67 isn’t embarrassing — it’s empowering. Pinterest is teaching me how to think long term. Affiliate marketing is teaching me how to be intentional. YouTube is teaching me how to speak honestly.

Do I still want a job? Yes. Could this turn into something bigger? Maybe. Am I willing to try? Absolutely. If nothing else, I want my girls to see that you don’t stop growing just because the calendar says you should.

And right now, I’m trying.
