July Stats Chat: We Didn’t Just Meet the Goal—We Blew Right Past It

There are moments when you realize all those early mornings, late nights, blog posts, Pinterest pins, and YouTube videos are starting to add up.

July was one of those moments for me.

When I sat down to review my monthly numbers, I wasn’t expecting to see what happened. Not only did I hit the goals Claude had projected for July—I blew right past them.

Here’s a quick look at what happened:

  • Over 110,000 Pinterest impressions
  • 2,000+ website views
  • 47 Amazon orders
  • Continued growth on YouTube
  • My first Amazon affiliate payment proving this business is becoming something real

The numbers matter because they tell a story, but they aren’t the whole story.

The biggest lesson from July is that consistency works.

Every blog post.
Every Pinterest pin.
Every YouTube video.
Every small improvement.

None of those things felt life-changing on the day I published them. But together, they created momentum.

One thing also became crystal clear this month: my audience is telling me exactly what they want.

My content about modern boho style, reinvention after 60, and building a business later in life continues to outperform everything else. Instead of trying to be everything to everyone, I’m learning to lean into what both I and my readers genuinely enjoy.

That’s exciting.

I’m also taking the next step by expanding beyond Amazon and beginning my journey with additional affiliate partnerships. Building multiple income streams has always been part of the plan, and July showed me it’s time.

My Goal for August

I’m not slowing down.

The mission is simple:

  • Continue publishing consistently.
  • Keep improving my content.
  • Help more women over 60 realize they still have plenty of dreams worth chasing.
  • Keep building this business one blog, one pin, and one video at a time.

I often say you’re never too old to start something new.

July reminded me that I actually believe that.
